Our 2024 Champions are Cosby Golf Club
The league play-off final was contested at The Leicestershire GC on Sunday 15th September between Cosby Golf Club and Whetstone Golf Club. Cosby GC were the victors on the day by a score of 4 – 1. This fantastic result for Captain Steve and his team means that Cosby GC are L&R Champions for the second time. Congratulations to all at Cosby Golf Club and to Whetstone Golf Club – both having had a fantastic season.
Finals Day 2024
Unfortunately due to the weather conditions which included prolonged thunder storms the ‘Finals Day’ had to be postponed and will be re-scheduled in the near future.

2025 Season
We welcome two new teams for the 2025 season, Charnwood Forest Golf Club and Rothley Park Golf Club.
For 2025 we have sixteen teams and the L&R B Team League will be competed in 4 divisions each of 4 clubs. The divisional winners then playoff in semi-finals and a final on neutral courses to determine who our overall champions will be.

The L&R B Team League goes from strength to strength and has secured the prominent golfing tournament in L&R. We enjoy the competitiveness, the camaraderie and the ‘dinner banter’ and we cement old friendships, and make new ones.

BACKGROUND
The league was formed in 2009, with the first season being played in 2010.
The Leicestershire & Rutland B Team Golf League is a not for profit organisation.
This site is designed, by Globe2, to provide information and results to players and officials of competing clubs and to encourage new clubs to join us.
